Recently received a response dated Jan 23 from the State Department. As with the other FOIA requests submitted on behalf of STORIS and her supporters, State Department has denied my request for a fee waiver as well as my request for an expedited search for records. Apparently my explanation that as many as four, possibly five, federal agencies likely broke at least two federal laws in the excessing, sale and disposal of STORIS wasn't important enough for the State Department officials. We push on.
