Maritime museums seek grant funding changes
New story in Maritime Executive magazine about the efforts to hold MARAD accountable to the terms of the Maritime Heritage Act. MARAD officials are busy trying to counter the negative publicity surrounding this situation. STORIS isn't specifically mentioned by name, but I was quoted in the story citing the problems that are known with government excessing of ships, particularly with GSA.
