Remembering DC1 Wallis Sherwood Windley of STORIS, who died in an apartment fire in Juneau on March 21, 1950, the only member listed in CG records as having died in the line of duty while assigned to the ship.
For almost 65 years she served her country with Honor, Respect and Devotion to Duty -- STORIS, you are not forgotten.
