I finally received 70 pages of paperwork Friday from the U.S. Coast Guard regarding my FOIA request from November. I am currently working my way through it and hope to post it within the next few days. Going through it on first review, I am sorry to say that the more information that I gather, the more it becomes obvious to me that we never had a chance to save the ship, even well before she was even (illegally) excessed and sold.
